Bengtskär is a beloved visiting destination, which attracts ovet ten thousand visitors every year. The lighthouse on this remote, mostly barren rock island, known as a skerry, was built in 1906 and features jugend style interiors. The skerry itself is a treeless rock, on which the power of the Baltic Sea can trylu be sensed.
You will reach Bengtskär with a ferry from Kasnäs harbor, Kemiönsaari, or from Hanko town. The lighthouse can also accommodate overnight guests.
