Salo is a growing city and a financial hub in Southern Finland, located inbetween Helsinki and Turku, the most notable city on the western coast. The population of 50 000 residents live on a relatively compact city grounds – the nature surrounding Salo is the main attraction here. The Gulf of Finland seashore is near, as well as Teijo National Park, with 50 kilometers of hiking trails, beautiful lakes and swamplands.
