In previous times a small island community, the Pentala fishing village vas restored during the 2010s as an outdoor museum, open for public – get to know the ancient island life. The oldest building of the village dates back to 1790. There are also numerous old fishing huts and some 1900s-built villas on the island – the oldest one, Villa Hanell is located on the eastern seashore.
